“Now faith is the reality of what is hoped for, the proof of what is not seen, for by it our ancestors were approved. By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of GOD, so that what is seen has been made from things that are not visible.” Hebrews 11:1-3

Just as the definition says Faith is what is hoped for, the proof of what is not seen. We as children of GOD need to have Faith. We need to believe in Christ and what his death has saved us from.

“Now without faith it is impossible to please GOD, for the one who draws near to Him must believe that He exists and rewards those who seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6

We cannot say we believe yet do not have Faith. That is not pleasing to God .You have to have Faith and stand strong on the word of the LORD, and where do you get that word? From reading the Bible.

In Hebrews 11 you will learn how with faith and Obedience to GOD, people where blessed.

Have Faith and believe for with Christ nothing is impossible.

Prayer

“Therefore, brothers and sisters , by the mercies of GOD, I urge you to present you bodies as a living sacrifice , holy and pleasing to GOD; this is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing , and perfect will of GOD”. Romans12: 1-2 To pray means to offer devout petition, praise and thanks to GOD. To enter, into a spiritual communication with GOD. I believe in the power and necessity of prayers. Prayers should be the center of all we do as individuals, parent, sibling’s friends etc. Prayers is talking with GOD, praising his name and presenting our request to him. JESUS thought us how to pray in Luke11: 1-4 “He was praying in a certain place, and when he finished one of his disciples said to him” Lord teach us to pray just as John as also taught his disciples “He said to them, “Whenever you pray, say Father your name be honored as holy. Your kingdom come. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins, for we ourselves also forgive everyone in debt to us. And do not bring us into temptations.” In John14:13-14 Jesus said “ whatever you ask in my name I will do it so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name I will do it.” Be consistent in prayers because how often you pray about anything shows how important it is to you. Luke18:1-8 is about the unjust judge, who did not fear God or man and had no regard for anyone, that a woman kept disturbing to look into her case. The unjust judge had mercy on her, How much more your Father who is so merciful and forgiving . So what do you think will happen when you pray consistently? GOD will surely have mercy on you. Pray relentlessly, pray always and see what the LORD can do. Ask the Holy Spirit to intercede to GOD for you. Romans 8:26 “In the same way the spirit also joins to help in our weakness, because we do not know what to pray for as we should, but the spirit Himself intercedes for us with unspoken groanings”

Why Worry?

“This is why I tell you: Don’t worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the sky: they don’t sow or reap or gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you worth more than they? Can any of you add a single cubit to his height by worrying? And why do you worry about clothes? Learn how the wildflowers of the field grow: they don’t labor or spin thread. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was adorned like one these! If that’s how GOD clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and throw into the furnace tomorrow, won’t He do much more for you –you of little faith? So don’t worry, saying, “What will we eat? Or “what will we drink? Or “What will we wear? For the idolaters eagerly seek all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you. Therefore don’t worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Mathew 6: 25-34.

Why do we worry so much even after we pray and say that we believe and have faith? I know or I am sure that it is easier said than done. But it is something that we have to learn, like a baby learns to crawl and walk. For “we are to know that all things work together for the good of those who love GOD: those who are called according to his purpose” Roman 8: 28.

No matter what the situation is, no matter what you are going through try not to worry. It accomplishes nothing; absolutely nothing, and it is the opposite of trusting GOD. When we worry, we are saying that we do not believe that God can take care of the problem.

Philippians 4: 6-7 “Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to GOD. And the peace of GOD, which surpasses every thought, will guard your hearts and your minds in CHIRST JESUS.

This message is for me, and all of you that worry. I believe and trust in Him (JESUS) because with Him all things are possible. “Anxiety in a man heart weighs it down but a good word cheers it up” Proverb21: 25. I will keep my heart filled with JOY and His Words for it says in 1Peter 5: 7 “cast all your care upon him because he cares about you”

So please, try not to worry and pray often for He is never late.

Obedient to the Word.

Nowadays, there are a lot of ministers out there that tell us of all the good that GOD has for us. How if we pray and speak the word whatever we want we will get. But very few of them tell us that we have to be obedient to the word of GOD for us to be able to enjoy and get his promises. Isaiah1: 19 “If you are willing and obedient you will eat the good things of the land.” In Deuteronomy 28, when Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt, GOD made promises to them on the condition that they are obedient to his words. (Deuteronomy28: 1-14). Deuteronomy28: 1-2 “Now if you faithfully obey the LORD your GOD and are careful to follow all His commands I am giving you today, the LORD your GOD will put you far above all the nations of the earth. All these blessing will come and overtake you, because you obey the LORD your GOD.”These minsters do not tell us that we have to obey and that if we do not obey we do not enjoy the goodness of the LORD.In the same vane, in Deuteronomy 28: 15-28, you can read about what GOD says will happen to the Israelites if they disobey his words. Deuteronomy 28: 15 “But if you do not obey the Lord your GOD by carefully following all His commands and statutes I am giving you today, all these curses will come and overtake you.” John14: 21 “The one who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me. And the one who loves Me will be loved by My Father. I also will love him and will reveal Myself to him.” So how is it that we obey our parents and obey the laws of the land, but cannot obey the LORD? Act5: 29” We must obey GOD rather than man.” Obey GOD and be willing to do his commandments and see what a difference it will make in your life. Like the song goes “trust and obey.”

Tithing

Tithe is an old English word, it means tenth. Tithing is giving one tenth of all your earnings to the LORD. It is a way to teach us that GOD must be our #1 priority. Deuteronomy 14:22 “Each year you are to set aside a tenth of all the produce grown in your fields.” Now you are not to wait till the end of the year to do this because those of us that have jobs get paid weekly, bi-weekly or monthly as the case maybe . You are to give to the LORD 10 percent of your pay before you use it for anything else . Psalm 24:1 “The earth and everything in it, the world and its inhabitants, belong to the LORD” So why will you not give to him first what he has blessed you with. Before we start to spend and pay bills we need to honor GOD, by giving him his tenth. Proverb3:9-10 “Honor the LORD with your possessions and with the first produce of your entire harvest; then your barns will be completely filled, and your vats will overflow with new wine.” If you can set aside your rent and mortgage even before you eat , why cant you set aside your tithe the most important….. In Malachi3:8 “will a man rob GOD? Yet you are robbing me!” you ask:” How do we rob you?” By not making payment of 10 percent and the contributions.” So why would you want to rob GOD of what is rightfully HIS. Malachi3:10 “Bring the full 10 percent into the storehouse so that there may be food in My house. Test Me in this way,” says the LORD of HOSTS.” See if I will not open the floodgates of heaven and pour out a blessing for you without measure.” Many people do not want to pay their tithe, some of them know they should but worry of how they are going to pay their bills after they pay . Some of them come up with excuses like “it is the pastor that uses the money, so why will I be giving my money to the pastor?” Paul has an answer for you in 1Corinthains9:13-14″ Do you not know that those who perform the temple services eat the food from the temple, and those who serve at the altar share in the offerings of the altar? In the same way, the LORD has commanded that those who preach the gospel should earn their living by the gospel.” So do not worry about what your money is being used for, because you are giving to the LORD. Please do not pay your tithe reluctantly with sadness in your heart/face believe me you will be doing it the wrong way . You don’t want to get cursed but blessed. In 2Corinthians9:7″ Each person should do as he has decided in his heart-not out of regret or out of necessity, for GOD loves a cheerful giver.” In Deuteronomy16:17 “Everyone must appear with a gift suited to his means, according to the blessing the LORD your GOD has given you.” It is not after your bills that you take 10 percent it should be first before anything else. You cannot cheat the LORD. Give and it shall be given onto you. Pay your Tithe. Those who have started God will continue to bless you , for those who have not it is TIME.

CHRISTMAS

“She will give birth to a son and you are to name him JESUS, because he will save his people from their sins.” Mathew 1:21 “You will conceive and give birth to a son and you will call His name JESUS. He will be great and will be called the son of the Most High, and the LORD GOD will give Him the throne of His father David. He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His Kingdom will have no end.”Luke 1:31-33

This is the definition of CHRISTMAS in the English dictionary “The annual festival of the CHRISTIAN Church commemorating the birth of JESUS celebrated on December 25 and now generally observed as a legal holiday and an occasion for exchanging gift. The celebration of the CHRISTIAN Church to commemorate the birth of JESUS. That is what CHRISTMAS is about to celebrate the birth of our LORD and SAVIOR, but as you can see form the definition it now generally observed as a legal holiday and an occasion for exchange of gifts. The key word that I am trying to draw your attention to is “now” we has now turned CHRISTMAS to a holiday and an accession of exchanging gifts , dressing up putting out the lights and tree and partying. Completely forgetting the purpose which is the celebration of the birth of JESUS CHRIST.

For those of you who have kids and those that do not have yet, please this CHRISTMAS take time and tell them about JESUS tell them about the birth of CHIRST and how he came for our salvation. Read them the stories form the bible that teaches us about JESUS . I am not saying that you should not give gifts or not tell them about Santa . If you can take all that time telling them about Santa and how he comes when they are sleeping to put the gifts under the tree . Why cant you tell them the important things about JESUS and how without him we can not enjoy this gifts and beautiful things that he has given us to enjoy.

“He was not the light, but he came to testify about the light. The true light, who gives light to everyone, was coming into the world, and the world was created through Him, yet the world did not recognize Him. He came to His own, and His own people did not receive Him. But to all who did receive Him, He gave them the right to be children of GOD, to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of blood, or of the will of the flesh, or of the will of man, but of GOD.” John 1:8-14

Please people study about the light the true light and teach others so that we do not in our worldly way reject CHIRST.”we live in the world but we are not of the world” By all means please celebrate CHRISTMAS parties exchange gifts put out the lights and trees, but please while doing all this things remember the true celebration of CHRISTMAS.

Worship and Thanksgiving

Hello, Peace of the LORD be with you all. I will like to talk about Worshiping the LORD and being Thankful for all that he has done in our lives. We need to worship, thank and bless the LORD always. “To worship mean’s to bow down our head and say something that exalts the name , image, nature and personality of GOD”. It also means to reverence GOD; to stand in awe of HIM. A typical example of what it is to bless and worship the LORD is in 1Chronicles29:10-13 “Then David praised the LORD in the sight of all the assembly . David said,”May you be praised, LORD God of our father Israel, from eternity to enternity. Yours, LORD, is the graetness and the power and the glory and the splendor and the majesty, for eveything in the heavens and on earth belongs to you. Yours, LORD, is the kingdom, and you are exalted as head over all. Riches and honor come from you, and you are the ruler of everything. In your hand are power and might, and it is in your hand to make great and to give strenght to all. Now therefore, our GOD, we give you thanks and praise your glorious Name.” God our father seeks worshippers to worship HIM in spirit and truth and with everything that we have, and all that he has given us. John 4:22 “But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship HIM.” So please we need to worship GOD genuinely, from our hearts so that we can be blessed and remain blessed . So that we can pray and our prayers be answered, and that our children and genretions will find favor in the eye’s of the LORD like David did. We also need to be thankful. The fact that we wake up every morning is enough reason to thank the LORD. We are always looking for something big before we say thank you LORD. We want a big house, car , good job etc . We have to be thankful for the small things or what we consider small. The air that we breath, eyes to see, the food that we eat, the fact that we have legs and hands. Even when we want to pray, it is always Father bless me with this bless me with that. How about “thank you for all that you have done.” When we were kids, our parents taught us to always say thank you when we are given something or when someone does something for us. How come we do not say thank you to the most important person in the world? How come we say thank you to everyone else? The fact that GOD sent his only Son to die for your sake and mine so that we can be saved, is that not enough reason to say thank you. We have to remeber to be thankful in everything and every situation we find our self . Thanks and praise that is what HE needs. Hebrew13:15 “Therefore by Him let us continually offer up to GOD a sacrifice of praise, that is, the fruit of our lips that confess HIS name.” In all you do, give thanks to HIM that matters the most LORD, GOD ALMIGHTY. Forgiveness

Hello,

Peace of the LORD be with you. This is my first blog, well I am very surprise that I am doing this because I do not like to read let alone write. Thank GOD.

I thought to myself if I write at all I will love to write about GOD.

Let us talk about FORGIVENESS. Alot of us know if any little about FORGIVENESS. In Mathew 18: 21-22 Peter asked JESUS “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” JESUS said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.

You know we have being hurt in one way or the other by family , friends, co-workers etc. We say oh I forgive him/her but I will not forget . Then we wonder why when we pray our prayers are not answered or when something wrong/bad happens we ask why me?

We act like the slave in Mathew 18 that the master forgave his debt but the slave in turn refused to forgive his fellow slaves. We sin against GOD everyday and pray GOD please forgive me but we don’t forgive ourselves. Eph. 4: 31,32 “Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as GOD in CHRIST forgave you”.

We have to learn to forgive so that we do not drag our loved ones into that bad nest of unforgiveness. It is a BAD very BAD thing to be UNFORGIVEN. life goes alot smoother as Christians when we have a forgiven heart.

So please people learn to forgive so that GOD’S blessing and favor will not leave us. Hey I am no saying that it is easy , that is why you have to call on JESUS to help you forgive one another.
